A short stroll from your villa, our architecturally designed Lodge is the cornerstone of our team’s exceptional hospitality. Inspired by the Central Otago rocky landscape, its soaring ceiling and locally sourced schist exterior reflect the unique environment of the region.

There is nothing like relaxing - drink in hand - in front of the Lodge's striking feature fireplace. Its warmth and ambience draw you in to share stories, wine and laughter around the flames. Order a glass of Gibbston Valley wine from the bubbles bar before sinking into a plush armchair or sofa that encircles the fireplace. Our talented chefs select local, seasonal and sustainable produce for a menu that reflects the region we call home in the beautifully furnished Lodge Restaurant.
Downstairs, let us light the candles for an intimate dinner or private wine tasting in our underground Lodge Cellar, which is home to our historic vintages. There is also a small movie theatre, ideal for private film screenings or events.

Enjoy a game of bocce or dine al fresco in the courtyard. The last stop for everyone’s day is the outdoor fire pit - the perfect après ski spot for a glass of your favourite drop and stargazing here, within the Kawarau Gibbston Dark Sky Park.
