Step into nature

Leave the bustle of Queenstown and escape to one of 24 luxurious vineyard villas. Walking through the space, it feels private and visually beautiful all year round thanks to the extensive planting of New Zealand native trees and plants, as well as olive trees and cherry blossoms that line the banks of a natural creek. Waking up to native birdsong, you're ensured a peaceful retreat while still being close to all the attractions of the Central Otago wine region.

Each villa is modern and comfortable, with all the amenities you need to feel right at home. With 65m2 (700 square feet) of open plan living space, every villa features a private, covered deck and sun-drenched courtyard; a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of pinot while taking in the mountains of the Crown Range.

In the heart of it

While your villa will, of its own accord, make your stay an occasion you will delight in, what makes the Gibbston Valley Lodge & Spa truly unique is the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in so many activities.

Imagine waking up to breakfast with bubbles, followed by a scenic bike ride alongside the Kawarau River (departing right from the front door of your villa). Upon returning to the Lodge, you relax in the sauna or private hot tub before joining us in the Lodge Bar for a complimentary pre-dinner wine tasting.

The next day, make use of the on-site gym and have a restorative treatment at the Spa before indulging in a sumptuous lunch in the Winery Restaurant, followed by a tour of our working winery and NZ's largest wine cave.
